So this hotel does not have a pool or a hot tub or a spectacular garden. What it does have is friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great breakfast,, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, and lots of small touches that put it in a class of its own.

The Carriage House included a continental breakfast delivered daily to your room. The quiche, croissant and bagel were excellent. One day I requested fresh fruit and they sent some up, although not offered on breakfast menu. We didn't bother with another breakfast and went straight to lunch.

Breakfast was great and the location could not have been better. We like the fact that we can just leave the car and walk the whole town. Wine and cheese at 5pm was a great way to start off the evening.

The location was excellent, right in the center of Carmel. We arrived by car and could safely park the car in the parking lot. We had a very nice host, the breakfast was great. The happy hours with the glass of wine was a very nice bonus.

The breakfast was a nice surprise. Enjoyed the brewed coffee with real cream and the quiche. So lovely to have it brought to your room on a well-appointed tray to enjoy in a leisurely fashion. The room was cozy, spotless and had so many thoughtful amenities. It was within walking distance of all of our town center venues for a family and friends weekend.

Rooms were lovely,and fab location! Wine tasting in the evening was wonderful, giving opportunity to meet other guests and chat with the lovely friendly staff. The quiche and croissants in the morning were delicious.
